Junior Girls 5-A-Side – New Structure for 2025! ⚽
Last season we trialled a junior girls league, but the age range was too broad which resulted in uneven and unfair matchups.
This year, we’re launching Girls-Only leagues right from the start, with a strong push across the region to grow the girls' game!
We will now offer dedicated girls grades in:
-
Years 5 & 6
-
Years 7 & 8
-
Youth Girls (Years 9–11)
If you are older than Year 11, we recommend registering in the Women’s Only league, or joining a Mixed team as in previous years.
We're really excited to be offering this, but please note that each girls' grade will only go ahead if we receive enough interest — ideally at least 6 teams per grade.
There’s also the option for girls teams to play down a grade in the mixed league if they prefer or numbers are short. Girls are able to play in the Junior Mixed teams too!
Please spread the word and help us grow girls' football!
It’s a great opportunity for girls to give football a go in a fun, social, and supportive setting.
