U11-U12 Development

The OFC Development pathway provides opportunities for players in Grade 11 and Grade 12 to be selected in teams based on abilities, commitment and motivation.

U11-12 Development team players are identified during Term 1 by attending our Identification sessions and/or those attending the Term 1 Skill Development Programme. The group of Development players is then finalised at the start of April. Players not selected in Development teams but are committed and competitive minded players will still have the oppertunity to train 2x per week. (once a week with the Skill Development programme and once with their Saturday football team.)

All U11 and U12 teams play their weekly games on Saturday mornings and are a stepping stone towards playing in our Federation Youth Development Programme in the coming years (U13+).

U11 & U12 ID Sessions 2025:

Tuesday 18th March

  • Grade 11 - 4pm-4.45pm
  • Grade 12 - 4.45pm-5.30pm

Tuesday 18th March

  • Grade 11 - 4pm-4.45pm
  • Grade 12 - 4.45pm-5.30pm

U11& U12 Development teams for 2025 will be selected by mid April for the winter football season training and games

These 1-2x Development teams in each age group will have 1x team training with a game on a Saturday morning (volunteer/parent coach) and will be invited to attend the OFC Pre Acadmey in Term 2 & 3 (with Academy Coaches) where they will be put into development groups and trained alongside like minded players. It is our belief that the more time players can have on the ball with qualified coaches, the better they will develop.

Additional Coaching fees will apply for the Pre Acadmey sessions.

Skill Development Programme U11-U12 runs all year round in blocks of 6-8 weeks each term.

Term 1's U11-U12 Skill Development Programme is run on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm. Starting 24th of February and running for 6 weeks.
For term 1 this programme will also be used to help us further identify players for our U11 & U12 Development teams.
