2023 Womens Coaches!

OFC Women’s Coaching announcements 2023!
One of our final acts of the year is to confirm our Women’s Coaches for 2023! Our Women’s team are set to take part in a newly formed league of the NRFL Women's Championship, we will also be retaining a W-League side with both teams working very closely together. Nathan Metzger will be returning to lead our first team in this new competition with Carl Newby continuing as W-League head coach. Our Football Development Officer Jack Boland will be getting more involved in the Women’s space following his first year with the club to continue supporting our pathway of female players and linking the pathway through assisting with the first team. President Phil Mulligan on the appointments ‘Off the back of a very successful 2022 for Women’s Football in the club we are very excited to see what 2023 brings! With the chance to participate in a new league creates a big challenge and exciting opportunities for the players, staff and everybody else involved. We feel we are in a great position off the back of having 2 teams in the W-League to not just compete but also sustain strength in the Women’s game through our depth of players. The coaching team have done a fantastic job getting Women’s Football to this point on an upwards journey over the past few years and we look forward to seeing where this continues to take us in the future’. We will have more info coming in the new year, but look forward to seeing all interested players at preseason from the 7th February.
