Notice of Otumoetai Football Club 2025 Annual General Meeting
The Otumoetai Football Club 2024 Annual General Meeting will be held:
WHERE: at the OFC Clubrooms, Fergusson Park, Tilby Drive, Matua, Tauranga
WHEN: on Sunday 9th November, starting at 3.00pm.

New Constitution
Under the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022 every club must re-register by April 2026 and adopt a new constitution that complies with the new Act. We will be voting on the adoption of a new Constitution. A copy of the new Constitution will be provided to you not less than 14 days before the date of the AGM.
Executive Committee Roles for 2025/2026
We will be adopting the new constitution and then electing a new Executive Committee based on the rules set out in that new constitution.
Calling for Executive Committee Nominations:
The Executive Committee has a new look this year. Please see the attached information sheet about the new Executive Committee structure and what it means to be a committee member.
- At the AGM up to five (5) Members will be elected to join the Executive Committee. These 5 appointees will form the core of the Executive Committee and will select a Chair from amongst themselves after the AGM.

You are not voting on people for specific positions, you are voting on up to five people you think have the skill, drive and commitment to lead the Club.
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for the Executive Committee, please complete and submit the attached form to Alicia by Friday 31st October.
Other Volunteer Roles – seeking expressions of interest
Many may not be aware that the Director of Football, Football Development Officer, and Administrator are the only paid roles at OFC. Everything else — the great events, competitions, and community spirit - is thanks to our amazing volunteers.
We’re also looking for volunteers for the upcoming season as our club continues to grow. Below is a list of some (but not all) of the volunteer positions.
- Boys/Mixed Grade Coordinators (Junior/Youth/Seniors)
- Girls Grade Coordinators (Junior/Youth/Seniors)
- College Grade Coordinators
- Game Day Coordinator
- Equipment Coordinator
- Events Coordinator and team members
- Building maintenance Coordinator and team members
