Otumoetai FC & Tauranga Blue Rovers FC Partnership

Otumoetai FC and the Tauranga Blue Rovers Football Club have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together with an initial focus on youth, senior and talent pathways for both clubs in 2022.

This exciting new partnership allows the clubs to provide more opportunities to their players, without losing their rich heritage and identity, and without players losing their connection to the clubs they’ve grown up with.

Otumoetai FC President Paul Thomas, said, 'We are delighted to be working with the Blue Rovers. Conversations around collaboration between clubs have been going on for a long time, and we’re positive this partnership will provide plenty of benefits for both clubs, and for football in the area'. This view is shared by Tauranga Blue Rovers Football Club President, Theo Ursum, who added, “Shared values and aspirations is what brought us together, and we’re excited about what we can offer to players in Tauranga by working together."
